Terms of Service
Last updated June 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tacto (the “Service”), operated by Tacto. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Tacto on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and represent that you have authority to do so.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service;
- capture or publish content you don't have the right to share, including others' confidential data;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the recordings, guides, and other content you create with Tacto (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to it.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. Fees are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy or required by law.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Tacto and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may export Your Content before your account is closed.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tacto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
